Join Greater Manchester Skeptics Society for our October Social event and a stimulating evening of critical thinking and intellectual discussions on ethics and rationality. There may also be some chat about pop culture and sci-fi.

The Abel has become our new base, the Food and Service is excellent and the noise levels more conducive to chit chat so If you haven't been for a while it's well worth coming again. We have booked some tables upstairs at Abel Heywood from 7:30 onwards also the Abel Heywood serves food until 9pm

It is apparently International Beer and Pizza Day I don't think the Abel does pizza but does have wide selection of delicious beers
